School in a Bag, (SIAB) is an initiative run by the Piers Simon Appeal.
School in a bag is a relatively small charity and send SchoolBags filled with educational resources to poor, orphan, vulnerable, disadvantaged and disaster-affected children. Having the interest of Inner Wheel has been a very big help in their exposure worldwide. Luke Simon, Founder of School in a Bag said: “We’re really excited about working so closely with all the Inner Wheel districts and with there being so many clubs based in many other countries too (103 countries, 100,000 members) we may well be able to tie in School Bags being distributed in places where international club members can be a part of the journey and delivery. We would particularly like to thank Inner Wheel members for maintaining their commitment. Inner Wheel members take part in Bag Packs within their own districts and teddies are knitted, with one teddy being placed in each rucksack as a loving gift.
