Where do we meet?
Luton North in the County of Bedfordshire is situated in the South East of Inner Wheel District 26
Regular activities Members enjoy, include
Friendship Lunches on the second Tuesday of the month at restaurants and garden centres in the area, fund raising activities, walking group, hobbies, coffee and craft mornings, quizzes, theatre trips, outings, and interesting speakers at our Club Meetings.
Regular activities Members enjoy include:
- Celebrating International Peace Day on 21st September;
- Editing and reading for Talking Newspaper (sightconcern.org.uk);
- Knit and Natter Get-togethers;
- Current charities supported are Azalea Luton, Let the Children Hear, Luton Foodbank and Stepping Stones, together with District and Association charities.
When do we meet?
We meet at The Leicester Arms, 531 Dunstable Rd, Luton, LU4 8QW at 12.15p.m. on the fourth Tuesday in the month.

Club Projects
We put up our PB Topper celebrating 100 years of Inner Wheel. It has all 4 national flowers of the UK and Margarette Golding roses and bees in the centre. We always attract interest when we put them up and it is always good to tell people about Inner Wheel.
Our members have completed numerous tasks of 100 for 100 challenges in celebration of the Centenary of International Inner Wheel this year.
100 for 100 Challenges completed to date:
100 cans donated to our District 26 Contribution to MK CAN Guinness Book of Records Event
100 festive pamper bags for local Carers and Azalea Guests
100 knitted festive stockings filled with chocolates for Carers’ pamper bags
100 knitted Christmas pudding covers with Ferrero Rocher Chocolates for Azalea Guests
4×100 food and household items collected for a local church Harvest Festival to go to the Luton Foodbank
4×100 old and used spectacles for recycling to eye clinics worldwide
100 knitted and crocheted items to various charities
100 sponsored remembrance doves displayed at the Museum Wardown Park
100 pairs of gloves collected for Azalea Charity
100 Cadbury Crème Egg Easter Chicks for local charities
1700 miles walking challenge representing 100 miles per member of the club, sponsor proceeds donated to charity.
