Where do we meet?

Harlow are part of Inner Wheel District 24, and we meet in members homes.

When do we meet?

Meetings are held at 2.30pm on the third Thursday of every month.

What do we do?

On Thursday 20th April Harlow Inner Wheel was delighted to welcome District Chairman Lee Robinson to our club.

Lee gave us an entertaining talk about her life and her experience as a swimming teacher. Her goal being to teach every child to swim 25 metres. Lee also taught adults which she very much enjoyed.

She had some lovely stories to tell and found her time as a swimming teacher very rewarding.

We had a lively and animated discussion about our own memories of learning to swim. Some of us however have still not quite mastered it!

President Viv thanked Lee for coming to visit us and presented her with a cheque for her charity Muscular Dystrophy.

A very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you Lee.
