We are pleased to announce that Eileen French was awarded an MBE in the King’s birthday honours list. This was awarded to her as founder trustee of Essex Council of Voluntary Youth Organisations, services to young people in Essex. Eileen is currently Membership and Development Officer, but has been District Chairman twice and a staunch member of Inner Wheel for more than 40 years.
Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Margate made and sold 100 cakes at Holy Trinity Church Fair in aid of the RNLI, PDSA, and the International charity, Hope & Homes.
Maidstone ladies knitting group made 100 square blankets and donated them to Maidstone Oncology Unit.. Members visited the Princess Project taking a collection of 100 toiletries for the Mums. Now they have decided to do a collection of 100 toiletries for the children....
