Where do we meet?
Auchterarder & District Inner Wheel is part of Inner Wheel District 1, and we meet at Auchterarder Golf Club, Ochil Road, Auchterarder PH3 2LS. From November, meetings will be held at 12 for 12.30pm on the first Thursday of each month. No formal meetings are held in July & August but coffee mornings, fundraising and social events continue throughout the year.
Our Club
Auchterarder was chartered in 1982 which means we recently celebrated our 40th Anniversary. See pictures. We currently have 31 members. As well as the monthly meetings members enjoy regular coffee mornings, knitting & crafts, group walks and outings as well as fundraising for local and international projects.
100 for 100
This year the club collected and donated all this food for their local food bank – seen in the boot of a car – it weighed in at 103kg – definitely 100 for 100!
Stall at Christmas Market
We took a stall at the recent Christmas Market as a fundraiser but also to raise the profile of the club and get some publicity. Great day was had by all.
Summer Outing
Members enjoyed their end of year outing to Glamis Castle – the sun shone and we were enthrawled by the many tales told by a very entertaining guide.
Publicity & Membership
This year the club has been focusing on raising its profile in the local community by using the digital notice boards in the town and putting ads in the regular local news magazine. This has resulted in attracting several new members most of whom have only recently moved to the area.

Visit of District Chairman
Our new District Chairman, Annetta Anderson, visited the club in September – she is seen pictured with President Muriel and members of the Club Executive.
Beautiful flowers presented to Annetta
Sponsored Walk
A very successful sponsored walk was organised in aid of Riding for the Disabled (RDA). RDA has been enriching lives of adults and children for over 55 years. There is a therapeutic benefit for people with disabilities working with horses and RDA is primarily run by volunteers.
Calendar girls
An amazing calendar has been produced to celebrate 40 Years of Auchterarder Inner Wheel. Members were involved both infront and behind the camera – and the pictures show the many activities and charities the club is involved in.
40th Anniversary
A red letter day for the club shared with friends from our neighbouring clubs.
