District 4’s army of knitters make wonderful children’s clothes and blankets, many of which are sent out to Malawi and distributed by the Zikomo Trust.  There is a feeding station in the south of Malawi near Thyolo that caters for many elderly people who are given blankets and knitted goods.  Near Mount Mulanje, the highest mountain in Malawi the Trust supports various village groups that welcome knitted goods.  There are also other projects in the central region where help is given to outlying villages in the form of knitted goods.  One of the pictures is of a delivery arriving at a Museum/Cafe where they are then send on to other places.  A huge thank you to all the wonderful ladies who knit these lovely goods throughout the year!
