District Chairman

District Chairman Barbara Cunningham

Welcome

I have the great honour of being District 9 Chairman for 2025 -2026, and I hope this year we can continue to enjoy the fun and friendship that Inner Wheel gives us and encourage more like-minded women to join us.

I have been an Inner Wheel member since my club, Reading Maiden Erlegh was chartered in 2002. I love the friendship and support that Inner Wheel offers, and at the same time, it has allowed me to do something that helps both the local community and causes overseas. I believe the more you put into something, the more you get out of it.

We are always looking for new members to share in our activities and friendship so please contact us if you are looking for a way to help others, live in our area and would like to know more about Inner Wheel. We look forward to welcoming you.

Who we support

My charity this year is CAMP MOHAWK – a multi-functional day centre for children with special needs and their families, set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside, just outside Wargrave, Berkshire.
Throughout the year, the centre provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space to encourage children with a variety of special needs to play, socialise and learn in a secure and caring environment.
