About District 9
District 9 has seven active Inner Wheel Clubs in the locations marked on the map. Each one meets for business once a month and there are also a range of social events, community service activities and fundraising events. Our district includes clubs in Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

I have the honour of being District 9 chairman for the second time. I have asked our members to be ‘Pat’s Pioneers’, looking for new opportunities to grow our clubs and the district and to be women of action. I am very hopeful that we can use our new publicity material to help us share our message and attract new members, so they can benefit from our wonderful organisation with its service and friendship.

Who we support
My charity for this year is Children with Cancer UK.
Those of you who are parents will, I am sure, feel the pain and anxiety when illness or harm comes to your child. Imagine being told that your child has a terminal or life-limiting illness. The pain and anguish must be terrible and so hard to bear.
So, I know District 9 can and will make a difference.
