Christmas Floral Extravaganza 2023
A successful Christmas Flower Extravaganza was enjoyed by family, friends and members from other clubs. Jean Fordham who is a NAFAS demonstrator, and a very valued member of our club, arranged over 30 beautiful arrangements. Following Afternoon Tea, prepared by our members the flowers were raffled off. A substantial amount of money was raised for Salcare, a local charity that supports local people.
President Kathleen welcomed Sue & Mark Vallis from ‘Blood Bikes’ to the June ’23 meeting
Mark gave a brief outline of the work done by volunteers. Kathleen then presented a cheque for £2800 which had been raised throughout her year in office.
