About District 21
District 21 can be found right in the heart of the Country. It covers the counties of Staffordshire, Shropshire and a part of the West Midlands known as the Black Country. Although the Black Country and surrounding areas are thought by many to be very industrialised and dismal that is far from the truth. We have areas of outstanding Natural Beauty including Cannock Chase, and The Shropshire Hills. This together with such attractions as Alton Towers, Black Country Living Museum, Ironbridge with its many museums, Shugborough Hall and Royal Airforce Museum Cosford make it a very interesting place to live or visit.
It also gives us a wonderful opportunity to serve the community whilst enjoying our surroundings and the friendship being a member of Inner Wheel can offer.
We currently have 14 clubs within our area all of whom are thriving enjoying friendship and fun together, both during their club meetings but also at events and special occasions organised as either fundraisers or just to enjoy each other’s company.
District Chairman
District Chairman Nesta Williams
Welcome
As a third generation member of Inner Wheel, I am privileged to serve on the Executive committee of District 21 for 2025/26 as District Chairman.
Within the Executive we work as an effective and committed team and our focus is always on the Clubs and Inner Wheel members within District 21.
My key theme for this year is ‘opportunity ‘
As members of Inner Wheel we provide opportunity to others through our objects of friendship and service.
The benefits of being a member of Iner Wheel are immeasurable and I believe that we should also take the opportunity that being a member of Inner Wheel offers to us individually.
This year, I have not nominated a District charity as I believe that Clubs are best placed to know the needs within their communities.
As we enter another Inner Wheel, I hope that we will all enjoy the opportunities that the year brings.

Who we support
Clubs in District 21 are best placed to know the needs within their local communities and I commend Association President Pam’s charity, Ronald MacDonald Houses Charities.
“Keeping families together
Children in hospital need their families close by. We rely on the generosity of fundraisers to ensure families are fully supported in our Houses and remain actively involved in their child’s care.”
International Charities
Members in District 21 support a wide range of International charities, each club supports a charity of their choice.
The Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in GB&I International Service Committee Chairman has a chosen charity. This year she is supporting Mary’s Meals.
