District 14 Rally at Silvermere Inn on the Lake

District 14 Rally at Silvermere Inn on the Lake

Our District Rally this year was held at Silvermere Inn on the Lake at Cobham, with our special guest, Association President Anthea. It was a perfect day in a beautiful setting and the sun came out in time for the photographs which made it even better. We all gathered together when we arrived, chatting with Anthea and the guests from other Districts, before sitting down to a splendid lunch.
After lunch, the Rotary District Governor and the neighbouring District Chairmen brought their greetings before Anthea surprised us all by wearing her bee headband for her talk. Helped by her assistant Jennie, she asked us to remember to bee kind and bee positive, and outlined all she hoped Inner Wheel would become in the following year and beyond.
As the Rally finished, it was such a lovely day that we didn’t want it to end and stayed on to enjoy more fun, friendship and laughter.
