A very happy group enjoyed all the fun and friendship at Manchester, meeting new friends from all parts of the world and exchanging new ideas with them. The different sessions that were organised were interesting and left us lots to think about, and the entertainment was excellent.
One member of our group had brought along headbands for us all to wear depicting bees, which is the symbol of Manchester and ran as a theme throughout the Convention. These enjoyed a lot of popularity and featured in a great many selfies. With 2,500 ladies in the hall for lunch, they also made it easy to see just where we were seated.
The Gala Night saw us dressing as Flappers to remind us of the 20s when Inner Wheel was founded. The table decorations, lights, food and music put us all in the mood for dancing the night away with all our new friends.
