District 11 July Newsletter

Dear Club Presidents as we start a new Inner Wheel year, we are all sweltering as the UK records its highest ever temperatures.
I hope you will have a good relaxing and restful summer as we prepare for your year and clubs getting back together in September.
It would be good if you could let me know which charities you are choosing to support during your year.
The skittles competition is booked for September, East at ‘The Crofton’ in Stubbington on Thursday 8th September at 11.30am and West at Bearwood Community Hall on Tuesday 20th September at 10.30am. Lunch will be at 1 o’clock at both venues
The International Rally is again booked for 16th November at Hamworthy Club, Canford Magna, with a few changes to the stalls i.e. Games & Puzzles, Christmas Crafts & Gifts and Preserves & Cakes as well as the usual Raffle.

Association President Karen Davies chosen charity is the Air Ambulance

Let us all keep positive and hope that we will be able to meet up in friendship for the district meetings in the future and at club level during this coming year.

The Executive and I are looking forward to seeing you at the District Meeting with Picnic to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee at Bramshaw Village Hall on Friday 29th July at 10.30am. Viv Carter from Honeypot is coming to speak after the main meeting.
