Where do we meet?
Inverness Inner Wheel is part of Inner Wheel District 1, and we meet at Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness IV2 4LF. Meetings are held at 12.30pm for 1pm on the first Thursday of the month. No formal meetings are held in July & August but coffee mornings, fundraising and social events continue throughout the year.
Our Club
Inverness is the largest club in our District. We were chartered in 1959. We currently have 56 members. As well as the monthly meetings members enjoy coffee mornings knitting and all types of crafts, regular walks and outings as well as fundraising for local and international projects.
Our City – Inverness
Inverness is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.K. it scores highly in terms of quality of life for residents. Located in the centre of the Scottish Highlands beautiful scenery surrounds us and the city itself is picturesquely situated on the banks of the River Ness. We have many tourist attractions in the area , the most popular being Culloden Battlefield and Loch Ness where visitors always hope to catch a glimpse of the elusive Nessie.
Joint Venture with Rotary
Our Club has been involved in a joint venture with the 4 Inverness Rotary Clubs in supplying items for Ukraine. The initial apeal was for toiletries and a second colection was for bedding and most recently baby items and paracetamol.
