Members from District 9 gathered to witness Past District Chairman Pat conclude her year by handing over to our new Chairman Barbara. Pat was congratulated on a very successful year, culminating in a donation of over £2,000 for her chosen charity Children with Cancer UK. Barbara thanked the outgoing District Officers and welcomed those joining the Executive Committee for 2025/26. The evening concluded with a delicious supper.
Brenda Scourfield wrote to Queen Camilla to inform her of Orange The World. On behalf of Carmarthen Inner Wheel she asked if Windsor Castle could be lit up in orange! Alas not! She did receive a note back thanking Inner Wheel for drawing attention regarding Violence...
Nine members of the Inner Wheel Club of Carmarthen braved the ice this morning to celebrate Inner Wheel Day, at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel, sharing stories and enjoying friendship.
