Club President Jan and Association President Pat cut the cake after a celebration lunch to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Banbury Club. Over 60 members and guests gathered to mark the presentation of the Club’s charter, enjoying a wonderful lunch and great fellowship. Special guests included District Chairman Angela, President Mark from The Banbury Rotary Club and President Philip from Banbury Cherwell Rotary Club. Banbury Inner Wheel Past President June read an extract from the minutes of the inaugural meeting, which illustrated how formality has changed over the years but the fun, friendship and commitment to service remain as the backbone of all that our modern club continues to enjoy.
