D8 Ely have a new President !

D8 Ely have a new President !

Ely Inner Wheel held their A.G.M in June. Outgoing President Julia Smith
summarised the events of the year to members and was proud to announce
that a total of £1665.48 had been raised for her chosen Charity, East Anglian
Air Ambulance. Treasurer Jenny Axford reported that over £3000 had been
donated to charities overall by the club during the year. Julia welcomed new
to Ely member Sandra Forsyth. Sandra has been a member of Inner Wheel for
35 years and moved to Ely a few weeks ago.
Julia handed over the chain to incoming President Rosemary Marshall who
gave a resume of her life, hopes in Inner Wheel and named her charity for the
year East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices
