D6 – Redditch Inner Wheel Orange the World

Redditch Inner Wheel club had a successful morning on 25th November walking around Church Green handing out two sided leaflets to young and old.

They were particularly impressed with the young student boys who actually went off with the leaflets, they watched them huddle round and read through them.

They met up in a local café with those members who couldn’t walk, it turned out that the owner had lost his sister to an abusive and violent husband, leaving a one-year-old child.

He was so impressed with their work that he offered a space and drinks etc and to introduce them to the local MP.

Presdient Liz went with one of their members to another part of town where they met up with other groups doing similar promotions.

In the afternoon they visited RIBI headquarters in GB&I where they had promised to make a video of the members delivering their message.

It’s not quite what they had in mind, but they have left them with more information in the hope they will print something about Inner Wheel’s involvement in their February newsletter.

They will wait and see.
