D5 Past DC Sheila’s Charity St Ann’s Hospice

Past District Chairman Sheila Salden and Past District Treasurer Hamida Adkins (now D5 DC!) recently visited St Ann’s Hospice, in Heald Green Stockport, to present a cheque for £1,082.00 to Fundraising Manager Sam.

The hospice was Sheila’s chosen charity for her year as DC and she send thanks to all clubs that gave donations to this very worthwhile cause. St Ann’s Hospice, which will be known as Moya Cole Hospice from October 2025, is one of the largest and oldest adult hospices outside of London. After half a century of caring in the current premises a new building is urgently needed. Past DC Sheila chose St Ann’s as her charity for the year so that funds raised could go towards the new build project.
