D5 Orange the World Launch Day Manchester Walk

On Tuesday November 25th, the first day of the IW Orange the World campaign to raise awareness of the need to end violence against women and girls, 32 members of D5, from 8 clubs,  met in Manchester.

They were joined by Lord Lieutenant of Manchester, Mrs Diane Hawkins JP LLB, Candida Turner from Manchester City Council and 2 members of Sale Rotary club.

Brightly dressed in orange and led by District Chairman Hamida Adkins, they walked around the city centre to raise awareness of this important campaign. Thankfully it was a glorious, if chilly day!
