D5 IW Sale Sticking Chests Out For Orange The World

D5 IW Sale Sticking Chests Out For Orange The World

At IW Sale we have been collecting gently worn or new bras to send to a local women’s refuge, as part of our commitment to Inner Wheel and the ‘Orange the World’ initiative.

Sadly we recognise that all too often women who have escaped domestic violence, have left with nothing more than the clothes they stand up in

We put a call out to family and friends for donations and have been amazed at the kind generosity of all. We have collected over 130 bra’s, which have now been dropped off and distributed. There may be some streets in our community where there are now many ‘liberated’ women.

We do really thank everyone who have given so freely and hope that it hadn’t left anyone without their ‘personal support’.

We felt like the ‘Calender Girls’ posing with some of our lacy haul.

We intend to continue this venture into the future and include other much needed items.
