D5 IW Marple and Goyt Valley President Karen

I have been a member of Marple and Goyt Valley IW for 14 years. I was international Officer then treasurer for 7 years before taking up the role of President, this is my second year.

I am married to Mike who is very supportive of IW activities and is always there with a helping hand.
I have 2 married sons, one who lives in London and the other who has recently moved  from California to Palma, Mallorca. I’m looking forward to lots of trips to explore the Island and see more of my family.
I have 3 beautiful granddaughters all under the age of 10.

I worked for the library service for most of my career, where I met members of IW and was introduced to Marple Club .

I really enjoy the friendship and fundraising activities IW has to offer. I have made many lasting friendships over the years and love being part of a team where we have fun along with raising funds for local and national charities.
We are ladies who love to lunch!
