Six ladies representing Marple and Goyt Valley presented a cheque for £700 to The Christie Hospital on Thursday 29th January 2026.
The cheque was presented to Adam George, Community Fundraising Officer by President Karen Morris, Carol Pollitt, Kay Scott, Rose Hayes, Sylvia Derry and Pauline Harrison. The Christie treat over 60,000 patients a year and are hugely thankful for donations. Their ultimate goal is reaching a future free of Cancer. The money was raised at our Christmas Fair which was held in November 2025 at The United Reformed Church Marple. Our grateful thanks to The Church and all the stallholders for all their hard work to help make our event so successful.
