D5 IW Marple and Goyt Valley; 50 years of IW Membership for Cynthia

Marple and Goyt Valley club have just celebrated Cynthia Garlick’s 50 year anniversary as a member of Marple and Goyt Valley Inner Wheel.

President Karen opened the event by informing us of the time Cynthia has been a member, joining the Inner Wheel Club of New Mills and Marple 50 years ago in 1975 She is past President of New Mills Club and several of our Club members were in attendance at the celebration.

We were honoured to celebrate with her enjoying a delicious lunch and a toast to her with a glass of Prosecco!

President Karen presented Cynthia with a framed certificate of a 50 Years of service signed by our National President Pam Boyes and District Chairman Hamida Atkins, and lovely bunch of flowers and a cake for the celebration.
