Joan Johnstone joined Inner Wheel in 1989. She has held every position at Club level, and at District level – Editor, Council Member, and District Chairman in the Millennium when there were 34 Clubs. Joan was married to Ernest the youngest of the four Johnstone’s Paints brothers for 60 years. They have four beautiful daughters, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Joan is a lifelong Salvationist, soprano soloist, after dinner speaker and lay preacher. She is now President of the Founder Club for the fifth time and enjoying every minute of it.
