Members of IW Macclesfield Castle are delighted and grateful that Judy has agreed to carry on as club President for a further year. She will continue to attend District meetings and fundraising events during the course of the year. Judy has been a long time member of the District Choir and sang at the Association Conference in Llandudno to well deserved praise.
We are now a group of 14 and have recently changed our meeting venue to Sutton Hall for a lunch time meeting. We continue to support our elderly members, some now in their 90’s. We hope to hold a coffee morning at Gawsworth Methodist Church, selling home made cakes, preserves and chutneys. Proceeds will go to the Pancreatic cancer charity and an International charity. We also collect various items including stamps, coins and ring pulls which we send to District for onward distribution.
