D5 IW Buxton Orange the World Bench

When our club reached our 90th anniversary in 2020 we decided to buy a bench to mark the occasion, and we were delighted when the manager of the Buxton Pavilion Gardens sited it in the famous Conservatory.
We were also really pleased to note that the local Soroptimist club also had a bench opposite ours.
We decided that we would decorate our bench to highlight the Orange the World campaign and we contacted the president of the Soroptimists to see if they would like to decorate their bench as well. It turns out that Inner Wheel is rather late to this party; Soroptimists have been marking Orange the World each November/December for many years!
We all met up, exchanged news and views about our clubs and agreed to invite each other to events etc.
