D5 Hazel Grove Heritage Walk in Stockport

D5 Hazel Grove Heritage Walk in Stockport

A group of 8 ladies and 2 guest husbands, enjoyed a 90 minute morning walk around some of the notable historic buildings in Stockport town centre.
Gareth from Stockport Heritage, was a very enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. He highlighted some of the listed buildings in the town, and gave us some background information about the funding and politics at the time they were built. We were blessed with beautiful sunny weather and good company as we walked  around.
We are already looking forward to similar outings in the future.
Thanks to the Social Committee for organising the event.
