D4 – Orange the World preparations in full swing

D4 – Orange the World preparations in full swing

Members of Ripon and Ripon Rowels Clubs are getting their preparations under way for the Orange the World Campaign.
They have visited most of the shops in Ripon, asking if they will display posters and orange balloons in their windows.  So far, they have covered some 20 shops and most  have agreed to support them.
On Thursday 27th, which is market day in Ripon, some of the members will be dressing in orange clothing (some in hi-vis jackets, orange gloves and orange hats) and walking through the town handing out cards advertising Orange the World and  Inner Wheel.  They have even persuaded  the vegetable stall holder to donate some oranges to hand out!
The Cathedral, the Town Hall and the Museums have been approached to see if they will light up in orange, hopefully the reply will be Yes.
