Wednesday 3rd December, Eileen French and Jane Bassom from Wickford Inner Wheel wore Santa outfits to take part in the "Santa in the City", part of a 3 night event.
They completed a 5K walk and were sponsored by members, family and friends raising in excess of £550 for the Sarcoma UK Charity, through "Just Giving".
On completion they were presented with their medals. 
It was a dry evening and nearly 1500 runners and walkers took part.
They had a throughly enjoyable evening for a worthy cause.
