On Tuesday 25th November President Sue and her husband John went to Clacton Gardens to cover the Well (which we maintain), in Orange Cloth and left a notice about Orange the World.
In the afternoon we held a knit-a-thon, orange squares were made to be sewn into a blanket.
We approached the Council about ‘lighting up the Town Hall’; they agreed but said they didn’t think they could do it for the whole time.
Members of Witney Inner Wheel Club took part in the Orange the World campaign. Theygave 10 goodie bags for children, plus an Advent calendar and book. 16 bags for women were given, each bag containing a makeup bag filled with face cloth, face mask, tissues,...
Horwich Inner Wheel Club members walked around the local retail complex. They took the opportunity to talk to local people about the Orange the World campaign. Interesting responses and reactions!!
Members of Newton & District Inner Wheel club decorated a Christmas Tree in their local Church to promote Orange the World. Those visiting the church were very interested and keen to discuss the initiative.
