D22 District Meeting – Orange the World

D22 District Meeting – Orange the World

No, these ladies have not been ‘tangoed’, they are supporting a very important project, ‘Orange the World’.
At our District Meeting in November, we spoke of this important initiative to end violence against women and girls. To show our support we wore orange dresses, jackets, wigs, knitted brooches, lanyards – who knew there were so many things which are orange coloured. The raffle even had an orange theme.
This is just the introduction of a very exciting time, as between 26 November and 10 December, clubs in District 22 have plans to walk, eat, hold events, donate items and time and generally embrace the colour orange. Let your imagination run wild!
