Sunday 8th December 2024 in the words of the song “The weather outside was frightful” but the atmosphere inside was “delightful”. District 22 members, their families and friends came together to celebrate the season of Christmas and all that it means at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Church Warsop. . The cherry on the cake of this lovely afternoon was the choir from Birklands Primary School leading us singing the first verse from Away in a Manger and then telling us all about “”Whoops a Daisy Angel” who had problems with her harp, whose halo was “never straight” and was “always late!”
