D20 The Red Dress

Fabulous visit to the Red Dress at Ace Arts Gallery in Somerton by members of Yeovil Club.  The inspiration of local artist, Kirstie Macleod it is has provided a platform for women around the world, many vulnerable and living in poverty to tell their story through embroidery.   A project started in 2009 has produced this wonderful dress.   It next goes on exhibition in South Africa, but will return to the UK and the southwest in September..
