RHS Judge Bob Sweet has spent a very hot day with us today travelling around to various settings to look at plants, gardens and community gardens efforts, following the main Barnstaple in Bloom judging last week.
Barnstaple members have looked after our garden for the last 7 years, beside the River Taw, on the Strand in the centre of Barnstaple.
Whenever we are working in our ‘mini’ garden, (rain or shine,) members of the public invariably appreciate what we are doing and an example of where we really are part of the community, helping to keep Barnstaple tidy and looking good! As you can imagine our garden has been very thirsty recently and not the blaze of colour it has been in the past but it was our enthusiasm for the project that shone today!
