D15 International Emergency in Southern Africa

D15 International Emergency in Southern Africa

International Service Chairman MEL would like to draw your attention to the following;

Mary’s Meals is providing a lifeline to families in four of the worst-affected countries in the region. In Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe, the promise of their nutritious meals means they know their children will eat at school and they can stretch the little food they have at home further.

They are currently reaching 1.5 million children in Southern Africa with their life-changing school meals. But there is more they can do. They want to grow their programmes in Southern Africa so they can reach the next child who needs Mary’s Meals so urgently. They need help to bring more children back from the brink of desperation.

If you can help, please donate to their Southern Africa appeal. It costs just 10p a day to feed a child at school with Mary’s Meals. With Inner Wheel’s support they can help many thousands more children and families through this devastating drought.
