The Inner Wheel Club of Cardiff recently held a successful fundraising coffee morning at Cyncoed Methodist Church, Westminster Crescent, Cardiff.

The quizlet was really enjoyable, we all learnt some interesting facts, for example Hay-on-Wye is twinned with Timbuktu!

Proceeds will be going to ‘Literacy in Box’, a charity that believes every child has the right to an education. Boxes containing everything from pens, pencils, exercise books and backpacks to more recreational items like skipping ropes and footballs are sent to developing regions like Sub-Saharan Africa aiming to help children escape poverty through education.
