D15 Carmarthen President makes a School Visit

Inner Wheel Club of Carmarthen President, Brenda Scourfield, made a visit to Year 12 and 13 pupils at Queen Elizabeth High School to tell them about the UN initiative, Orange The World, which raises awareness of Violence towards Women and Girls.

The 203 pupils were divided into 4 groups, the young male students appeared shocked at the statistics given.

After the lesson the pupils were rewarded with Chocolate Oranges, Jaffa Cakes, Orange Kit Kats and Orange biscuits, all kindly donated by Tesco in Carmarthen.

D15 Carmarthen celebrate Inner Wheel Day

Nine members of the Inner Wheel Club of Carmarthen braved the ice this morning to celebrate Inner Wheel Day, at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel, sharing stories and enjoying friendship.
