D127 Rally Celebration

D127 Rally Celebration

D127 had a wonderful day at our 39th Rally. As usual the weather was brilliant.
Having a trio of District Chairmen, it was decided to have the Service and the Rally at the Hemswell Court where we hold our DCMs.

We started with a Service of Friendship led by Rev Canon Michael Silley, husband of PDC Mavis.
The organist for the Service was our very own Sue Gooseman, immediate Past International Organiser.
This was followed by the more formal part of the day – taking photos. Our trio of DCs, Joy Broderick, Jane Mason and Sue Brewer, welcomed Association Editor, Di Hylton, Christine Hines from D4, Lyn Copper from D22, Pat Hayes from D128, Past District Governor Robin Mason and Michael Silley.
As usual Hemswell Court produced a wonderful lunch – looked quite spectacular when the carried in the Crème Brulés.
We just had to be careful to wait for the flames to die.
