Crayford & Danson held their annual Soup & Fun day on the 4th of March and as always there were members from all round District 12. The raffle was in support of the Demelza charity, and we were pleased to welcome Katie Hook one of the fund raisers of the charity. She spoke on the new model of care being introduced to ensure the services provided are reliable safe and well-resourced for the 800 plus children the charity supports. A cheque for £200 was presented by Club President Sheila to Katie. The Soups were all firm favourites with everyone with clean bowls on every table. The quiz sheets - provided by one of the Crayford & Danson members - caused heated discussion and much laughter but unsurprisingly every table managed to get a sweet for most correct answers. We look forward to inviting District members to the 2027 event. Look out for the date!
