D10 Royal Forest of Dean – Air Ambulance

We were delighted to welcome Ursula (Sulley) who gave us a very interesting talk about the Air Ambulance Charity this evening. Ursula explained how the crew create a hospital where they land, dealing with major accidents often in tandem with other Air Ambulance crews. Once stable the patient(s) are transferred to specialist trauma units depending on each person’s needs. President Linda together with ex Presidents Lynn and Jenny thanked Ursula and presented a cheque for £500. Several of our members bought souvenir teddy bears and merchandise that Ursula had brought along.
