D1 members model outfits at Alexandra Palace

Inner Wheel members who had created outfits from Inner Wheel scarves for the Llandudno Conference (2026) were asked to model them at the Knit and Stitch Show at Alexandra Palace at the beginning of October. District 1 members, DC Nanette Thomson and President Jessie Stuart (Stirling) were 2 of the models from District 1 who travelled to London to take part in this unique opportunity. The scarves were designed in Aberdeen for the 2024 International IW Convention in Manchester. The key speaker at the Association Conference this year was Patrick Grant who encouraged members to show their skills with dressmaking in London. Nanette and Jessie agreed to take part and here they are modelling on a cat walk in front of so many people. Many congratulations ladies.
