D1 – It’s Good 2 Give

 
 

Our District Chairman Nanette’s Charity is - It’s Good 2 Give - a Scottish based charity supporting the physical & mental wellbeing of young cancer patients - aged 0 to 18.  At our Assembly, Ruari Mackenzie, a Director & Trustee of the charity, gave an illustrated talk about their work with young people and their families facing this awful diagnosis. Our members were very moved by the presentation - there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. I am sure this will be well supported by our clubs. Ruari also suggested that there may be an opportunity for a few members to visit their Ripple Retreat in Callander on selected days - so watch out for further information on that!
