In early March the Club held their Annual District International Lunch at Little Eaton Village Hall with the guest speaker Janet from the charity Dignity Freedom Network UK (DFN UK).
Working with its partner ‘Operation Mercy India Foundation’ they support the poor, the marginalised and the outcasts in India by providing education to children. They also provide health care and support families to gain independence and dignity.
Janet was very passionate about this charity and gave us much to think about. We had a lovely lunch with our friends from District.
