The Ladies of Roborough Inner Wheel had an absorbing speaker Lawrence Axworthy talking on The Bombing of Plymouth. His passion for the subject shone through. The amount of detail and research he has done resulted in a moving rendition of what can only be explained as a shocking time. Hard to believe our parents and grandparents lived through it. By golly they were brave people. We have invited him back to conclude his talk.
Ladies from Roborough Club had a lovely time viewing the lighthouses. Very colourful and even tactile. All sorted very unusual with some thoughtful clever themes in the designs. Lunch was very nice too.
