Worcester Severn club became aware of a lady with a new-born baby trying to escape an abusive partner and had nothing but the clothes she stood up in. Several agencies got together to help but it made us think about what we would need if we were in those circumstances so we got some orange bags and filled them with the essentials and presented them to Women’s Aid in Worcester. We felt that combining Orange the World and practical help would be the best way to raise awareness.

In total we collected 12 bags stuffed full of useful items and our member Jo Humphreys Club Correspondent collected them for Women’s Aid who were very grateful.
