D8 Ely Innerwheel – meet Sibling Support

D8 Ely Innerwheel – meet Sibling Support

Inner Wheel Day is held on January 10th when all clubs throughout the world celebrate the day that Inner Wheel was founded, now 102 years ago. At our January meeting we welcomed Dan Eaton from Soham based Sibling Support charity which was set up five years ago by Callum Fairhurst whose brother died from Cancer. The Charity aims to help children under sixteen who have lost a brother or sister by offering a web site, days out, a support line and work groups to help professionals dealing with bereaved children.  After question time, President Julia Smith thanked Dan for his talk and gave him a donation for Sibling Support from Inner Wheel and asked him to stay for tea and cakes with our members.
