D10 – Royal Forest of Dean – International Rally

Royal Forest of Dean hosted the D10 International rally held at The Belfry, Littledean.  Our speaker Sarah Houldcroft from Water Aid gave a talk about how the charity produces clean water for people in Africa, eliminating the need to walk miles to carry it home. The charity also provides sanitation and toilets for each village to use. We were very happy to welcome our District President Lynn Jones, who joined us as we listened to the very informative talk, and we enjoyed some delicious food for lunch. Everyone was delighted with the sales table where sales of the items helped to raise money for Water Aid along with our raffle.
