D10 Chipping Sodbury – Ageing Better Festival Stand – Yate Shopping Centre
The Inner Wheel Club of Chipping Sodbury set up a stand at the annual Ageing Better Festival in the Yate, South Gloucestershire shopping centre. We were joined by our Member of Council for D10 Margaret Bracher. It was an opportunity to raise awareness of what Inner Wheel is and what we do. We had a number of interested visitors to our stand which will hopefully lead to new members. There were many other voluntary organisations and charity organisations at the event.

At our recent District Meeting there was a fabulous lady who shared how she began writing poetry to pass the time during Covid. My group of ladies did something similar and held a poetry competition via WhatsApp and it reminded me of the poem I did. I thought I would...
