The Inner Wheel Club of Chipping Sodbury set up a stand at the annual Ageing Better Festival in the Yate, South Gloucestershire shopping centre. We were joined by our Member of Council for D10 Margaret Bracher. It was an opportunity to raise awareness of what Inner Wheel is and what we do. We had a number of interested visitors to our stand which will hopefully lead to new members. There were many other voluntary organisations and charity organisations at the event.
D5 IW Buxton Welcome Blood Bikes Speaker
At the April meeting of IW Buxton Club Secretary Mary Davies welcomed Sam Collins from Blood Bikes who gave a very interesting talk about the work of this nationwide charity.
