D5 Three New Members for Nantwich

D5 Three New Members for Nantwich

The Inner Wheel Club of Nantwich has had a very good year and has welcomed three new Members. All three have joined in 2024-5 and have been welcomed by Presidents Alison and Jane and all members in Nantwich.

Roz Spalding.

Roz is proud of being from Lincolnshire, although she was raised in Guyana. Her professional life began in York where she trained as a nurse and gained her degree. She has worked in London and Birmingham as well as Cheshire, where she has worked with the private sector in commissioning services. Since 2011 she has run her own consultancy business for medical management services. She is pleased to become a member of Inner Wheel and looks forward to the meetings and fellowship it offers.

Julie Chesters.

Julie comes from Birmingham and began her working life with the GPO but worked for many years for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Having retired she enjoys living in Nantwich and loves reading, walking and gardening, as well as spoiling her seven-month-old granddaughter along with her husband Tony.

Julie Ellison.

Julie is a Cheshire woman, originally coming from Sale. She can’t remember a time when she didn’t aspire to be a doctor. She trained in Medicine at St Andrews and has worked most of her professional life in the North and North West of England. She completed a placement in Newcastle Sydney, Australia and enjoyed it immensely. Julie specialised in Paediatrics, and within that field has further focused on the treatment of  Cystic Fibrosis, working with children from birth – 19 years. Julie has recently retired and enjoys travelling crafting, walking and playing the flute. Julie heard about Inner Wheel from our work during 2023-4 in supporting the Frailty Unit at Leighton Hospital.
